New owners took over at least a year ago... the staff is very friendly, the store is very clean and organized and they are open longer hours and still have the best chicken strips!!
Clean, huge selection of pre made snacks in the cooler, all sorts of drinks. But the best part...beautifully fried chicken !! Absolutely delicious. Tenders, wings, breasts, thighs. Also have a selection of corn dogs and a few other fried delights. Lots of sauce packets as well. Just a pass thru on the way to friend in Machias, gotta day this place is always a stop for a snack. Even on the way to lunch!
This place has it all, but the real winner is the fried chicken in their deli. They make if fresh all day from raw chicken & their own batter. People make a special trip just for the chicken. Seriously, you must try it.
